I think a domain is important, but not 5k important unless it's a perfect name.

You know what? Some of the names on the poll that don't win can still be used as sub-forums. TUFF talk would be dope for our version of TLR assuming it doesn't gain the lead all of a sudden then it would be a solid site name.

Onlybrehs/Onlyfam for JBO. And so on and so forth.
 
The more I think about it, it really depends on the long term vision for the forum. If you're trying to stay low key and just have the Coli posters come over with not much fanfare a generic name is actually good. If not and you want some identity (and visibility), something that stands out (no onlybrehs :mjlol: ) is the way to go.

I do think only brehs will get new younger people in but I don’t want to push off the core base which is people from sohh and the Coli.

Also from an ad perspective it could cause us to lose resources to keep improving the site.

Exactly, regardless of whether its TheStadium.forum, thestadium.net or whatever, "The Stadium" buries the whole forum under a sea of search terms.
 
Wish there was a way to do some sort of ranked choice voting or multiple choices at least.

I know TheSeum is pricey, so my second choice would be TheComeup followed by The Stadium. The last one though, I'd imagine that would be harder to get than TheSeum.

I went ahead and changed The Coliseum subform to The Stadium. Do I need to re-do the poll with just two options: The Come Up and Dapcity? Only Brehs has been disqualified, maybe can be the JBO name or just a funny joke going forward. :manny:

I think making it jbo would be fair to the folks that voted for OnlyBrehs. And a second poll with thecomeup and dapcity would be cool.
 
Are yall opposed to changing the locker room
To the barbershop? Or add any other suggestions for replacements.
