How is that rape when it explicitly says you should not treat her brutally? It says "YOU MAY go into her" not "you HAVE to go into her".
And no, they were not forcefully removed. The verse is talking about the women who had their husbands killed during war.

heres the thing though

if the word of God is a dialogue

is it between you and God, or you and your pastor?

this isnt to excuse crime of any kind but just a thought.

Ive said it to others but many people use their pastors as approximations for "how God would be" without really considering if thats the mistake
