When I was on my laptop it was default to light. I was able to switch that to dark. It's an icon on the bottom of the main page

In case this helps anybody, or maybe I'm just an idiot...

I was trying to upload an avatar all day, wouldn't take. I was wondering if it was because I'm doing it from a mobile? Is there an approval time for each avatar?

Ended up being that I was doing it with a Chrome browser. I used the janky default browser that came with the mobile and .

When there's a problem, Chrome always seems to be the culprit.
