Nah definitely not anything related to flabby n sick, thats setting us up.

To me, Tha Come Up and Tha Blacktop are the strongest choices because they both do a lot to communicate what this forum is in different ways, and they got personality. The Stadium is flat as fuck, The Seum is just a cheap imitation of The Coli and doesn't sound natural.

Something to consider with The Stadium is there is already a handful of forums with that in the name and a bunch with The Stadium as a prominent sub section on their forums, even with thekickback when I looked it up yesterday I ended up on some forum that I think was like a mens rights mens mental health forum or some shyt lol

But yeah I do agree with the posters who pointed out The Stadium is kinda generic and overused, that said I also think it's a good name for the sports section.
 
Hmm. I thought I had my mind made up earlier, but now I don't know what my choice is. I wasn't expected such a bad reaction to OnlyBrehs because it is unique and funny, despite the non-harlem nature of it, I didn't think so many grown dudes would look at it in a sexual way. :russ:

I like The Stadium but it is pretty generic. TheSeum is no worse than TheColi in the sense that people that didn't know where that name came from (The Coliseum on SOHH) had no idea how to pronounce it or what it meant. I remember that old interview with Brook when the interviewer didn't know how to say that shit.

Eh I think the The Coli is pretty easy to say, especially since Coli is still an actual word anyway. But regardless, its like I said before, The Seum just immediately makes this sound like a Bootleg. Ideally, you want to go in a different direction when giving something a new name. Something thats similar is just Great Value Coli.

OnlyBrehs is a funny inside joke but from the outside looking in it sounds like a gay hangout

Maybe just do the poll over again, and post in on The Coli too

The come up has a nice positive connotation to it. It wouldn't be a .com site. We looked it up on namecheap earlier and it's selling for 10,000.

Would have to be thecomeup.forum or something.

You've been making some good points. I googled The Stadium Forum and The Stadium Message Board. There really aren't any real results that popped up for me. That might be the best bet but I'll sleep on my vote. My original vote was The Come Up but I dunno.

This is the best argument so far to me against thestadium. But maybe that's a plus for some users I know they like being cutt off a bit from everyone else.

Its just too weird, inside baseball, and off putting. It'd work as a subforum, like if we renamed JBO to that lmao but for the WHOLE forum? Nah, too offputting especially given this specific userbaseuser base.
 
If it's still gonna be a predominantly hip-hop and sports website then it should be called the stadium. That's where athletes and rappers perform and where their fans are entertained. OnlyBrehs is funny because it does sound like a preference filter on grindr it's misleading because brehs aren't the only ones posting on here.
 
I like Tha Blacktop so much (and the .com domain is available) cuz it has layers. Same spirit as the Coli but not the exact same concept. "Tha" immediately let's you know this is some hip-hop shit. Blacktop = pickup ball. And it has BLACK in it without explicitly boxing it in as a black message board but let's you know what type of time we're on
