How Do Y'all Feel About Religion?

So what exactly is your point brother?
The bible says God will judge all of those who don't follow his laws, the gospel were spread all over the planet yet some people still chose to follow other doctrines.
its their right to do so

what you dont know is there were Jews before the Torah. The Torah was sent down as a judgment on Priests in particular thats why the captivity to Persia is still ongoing despite what is said

its important to understand that you are not born with knowledge or bibles etc

so God exists whether his message is repeated or not

following the laws are to our benefit. It is not just there to torment people. So when he sent the 618 laws down with Moses it was because he was setting the Levis apart from their brethren as a peculiar people, which is an allegory to Simeon and this line here from the Patriarch Jacob (pbuh)

remember, Simeon was born because the LORD heard that Leah was hated. So priests have a solemn duty to ignore what is said and to stick with what is "seen"

as far as other doctrines and peoples its their right once again, they will all come to knowledge in time. But the peoples of God shouldnt be using fear to do so otherwise they are under false interpretation

IE we are all like Jacob sleeping at Bethel. In the event shit goes south remember God will wake you.

List of shit christianity condones off the top of my head.

*Rape
*Adultery
*Kidnapping
*Murder

Arguing against that gon make u look stupid
i just said be specific, you listed 4 things

list 4 instances where they are justified and I will interpret on your behalf

Divine intervention didn't spread Christianity to every continent - genocidal cacs & their koon brigades did.

Tell the real story.
Who's talking about christianity? I'm talking about the bible. If you study a lil you will understand salvation were spread way before white supremacy has been a thing. The NT shows the hebrews were all over the continents, that's why Paul and them were traveling all the time.

I don’t believe in the Bible! I know it’s a supreme being but everything else is a waste of time! It doesn’t matter who gods chosen people are etc, crime murder still happens hunger aids etc we all will die one day so I just enjoy my lifestyle and help those who are less fortunate and live and let live

Do you believe the people who live in the country called israel are the same jews from the scriptures? Because if that's the case we will obviously disagree on certain topics and the discussion is pointless.

Exodus 2:11-14

11 And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.

12 And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.

13 And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?

14 And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.

Why would i get upset? We will have different perspectives on prophecies depending on who we understand the people the scriptures are talking about. But salvation is always more important than identity, i don't care about proving anything.

I don't really have to respond to those instances point by point.
The Bible does that for me.

Niggas would get the death penalty these days talkin reckless like this: Is the abrahamic God u follow a criminal?

Kidnapping - rape - murder being encouraged/justified in the name of religion.

Spin it all u want but the book say what the book say.

Exodus indicates that the "sons of Israel" increased and became mighty and many

and the Egyptians who didnt know Joseph (life) put taskmasters on them such that if they did not build "houses" they would be slain either when they were born or even before they were born

so given the fact that Moses was formed by a Levite man (Amram) and Jochebed, then it begs to reason that all hebrews are born in the same manner

basically you have Abraham as the "existential seed" and the idea of fatherhood and grandfatherhood being guranteed only to Jacob

then past that there are no guarantees

thats why in the New Testament, the Angel of the Lord comes to Joseph in a dream telling him to take the child into Egypt

so its implying that conceptions happen in dreams (IE Jacob dreaming of struggling with God and Esau/Laban etc) so the miracle is seeing your children despite the context of dreams. But the fear is your dreams swallowing up your children

are you sure this is describing people?

as I said to @Larry Lobster the Torah was designed for the Priests. So when it says they are going to war, they are going to war against the Amorites (foreign/pagan stories)

Still localized.
Before colonialism only euros, SOME east Africans & those east of Egypt followed Abraham - that's not exactly global in scale.

The rest of the world largely believed in their own thing until the colonials arrived.

I believe in God but I know a lot of people don't and that's their problem. They are full of themselves and that's their path at the moment. Not worth a debate with someone who just wants to speak down on God because they are nasty inside. Let's hope that the newcoli is not filled with arguments and filth and hate for the fellow man. We should be living one another as fellow black men.

I see you calling each other day and broke and niggas and crackers and other words for other groups like Indians and Asians and I cry inside.

Why have you decided to live this way son? Why son? Is it filling your heart with peace and prosperity? Deep down ask yourself that.

I love you.

Are you a descendant of people who were brought to the americas as slaves? If so your people always believed in the scriptures and the prophets.

i got love for you too and i feel that entirely

i cant stand that coli got like that (thats why I blame Houston and Chicago for normalizing it in the first place)

moderators shouldnt be using that language because the other users will say thats normal despite other stances

IE moderators arent kings they are just there to keep the dialogue clean

Exactly if the Bible actually happened in the Middle East why did those clear folks have to bring the natives of America the Bible, the natives already believe in whatever they was believing in ie animal spirits tree spirits etc! That’s why I’ve never celebrated thanksgiving! There’s nothing thankful of that day where natives were beaten raped and killed! It’s sick how everyone literally celebrates that day! But hey once you have the mind the body follows.

Really bra?
That passage describes forcefully removing women away from their families & taking pussy at will.

Pagans or wartime justifications be damned.
It still condones doing people dirty.

once again you are not seeing the boundary (the words on the page)

if you are not a believer you are not going to fully understand it

remember the Lord rested on the 7th day, the actions of the priests is not in the way you think

they are literally at odds with stories. This concept is also seen in the Quran as well.

So when you read "The sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair"

its really talking about the stories of men. The breaths of God knew the stories of man...

so if you think of say "Heracles" it should be more obvious why he is a "demigod" under the old understanding

It's the religion.
We had our own shit we used to adhere to.
Y'all to attached to all the johnny come lately stuff to have a real conversation about this.

The scripture is flawed & the sun dodgers who gave u the scripture are definitely flawed.
We can respectfully agree to disagree fam.
